Arc Flash is a dangerous release of energy caused by an electrical fault where a current can travel away from its intended path from one conductor to another. In the unlikely event of an arc the safety webbing can provide a critical barrier to reduce the dangerous effects such as burns, serious injury or possibly even death.
The two part webbing encompasses a combination of Kevlar for high performance tensile strength and cut resistance with Nomex or other fibre to the outer for UV protection and high temperature capabilities to prevent melting or dripping.
Developed in conjunction with external testing facilities to satisfy the requirements of Arc Flash Webbing to specific customer needs.
