Annual Family Day held at Leicester Tigers

2018 Annual family day held at the Leicester Tigers home match against Saracens.

The 27-22 loss from Leicester Tigers against Saracens didn’t put a dampener on a wonderful family day. Gratefully organised by George, all family members met at 12pm at the Welford Road Ground, home to Leicester Tigers for a day of fabulous food, alcohol and socialising. Lunch in the Honours Suite in the Holland & Barrett stand pre-game meant that everyone could catch up on their exciting lives and whereabouts, including transitions from GCSE’s into A Levels, university and graduate prospects, as well as an update on latest developments in M Wright & Sons. After a 3 course meal, we all headed out into the stand to witness what was an ‘on the edge of your seat game’, knowing full well that Saracens would make it an incredibly tough game for the Tigers. Full support was given from the Wright family, with Amelia definitely winning the ‘loudest shouter’ award and Nicholas winning the award for ‘best supporter hat’, all part of the fun! It really is fantastic to have such a strong rugby team so close to the family. It was great to have all the family together, especially for Georgina who also celebrated her birthday that day also. Wonder what next years family day has in store for us!
